The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate voice students and may teach related courses such as vocal pedagogy, diction, and literature; participate in student advisement, auditions, and committees; and continue scholarly or creative activity. A strong commitment to inclusive excellence is expected.

Qualifications

• Terminal degree in music or MM with commensurate experience.
• College-level teaching experience.
• Proven record of voice teaching.
• Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with a wide and culturally diverse range of students and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and graduate voice students; may teach related courses such as vocal pedagogy, vocal workshops, diction, song and opera literature.
• Share in departmental responsibilities: student advisement, recruitment activities, auditions and juries, and committee service.
• Continue scholarship and/or creative development at regional/national/international level.
