• High level of artistry on violin and viola.
• Graduate degree in violin and/or viola performance.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, such as the ability to interact with others with respect and cultural humility.

Responsibilities

• Tenure-track faculty in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences are typically hired on nine-month contracts, with a nine-credit hour teaching load per semester.
• Engage in scholarly/creative activity, service, and additional responsibilities as appropriate.
• Teaching and mentoring university-level violin and viola students with additional teaching in core music curriculum as assigned.
