Morgan State University, Maryland’s preeminent public urban research university in Baltimore, invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor in the Department of Industrial, Mechatronics & Systems Engineering (IMSE). The department emphasizes systems engineering, autonomous systems, robotics, and intelligent cyber-physical systems, with ABET-accredited programs.

Qualifications
- Earned doctorate in a relevant field by the time of appointment.
- Ability to teach across industrial and mechatronics engineering programs.
- Experience with developing research programs and securing external funding.
Responsabilités
- Develop competitive research proposals and seek external funding.
- Publish peer-reviewed research and mentor graduate/undergraduate researchers.
- Develop labs and testbeds supporting sponsored research and teaching.
- Contribute to undergraduate and graduate instruction in systems engineering and mechatronics.
- Advise undergraduate and graduate students.
