Anderson University, together with the College of Engineering, invites applications for a full-time, 9-month faculty position in Engineering with emphasis in Autonomous Systems and related fields. The appointment may be tenure-track at Assistant Professor level or as Professor of Practice depending on qualifications, with a start date anticipated as January 2027 or August 2027.

The successful candidate will enrich the undergraduate curriculum and support the Autonomous Systems track, offering

Qualifications

PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, Systems Engineering, General Engineering or closely related field is required.
Masters degree in engineering may be considered for appointment as Instructor.
For Professor of Practice, a master’s degree with extensive industry experience is required.

Responsabilités

Contribute to the undergraduate engineering curriculum and support the Autonomous Systems track.
Teach courses such as digital systems, circuits, embedded systems, signals and systems, controls, microcontroller interfacing, robotics and autonomous systems, machine learning for engineers, autonomous vehicles, capstone design.
Mentor students through laboratory work, internships and capstone experiences.
Engage in hands-on, project-based engineering education with strong integration of theory and practice.
