Job summary

The University of Minnesota Morris invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Statistics and Data Science in Morris, MN. The successful candidate will teach introductory statistics and data science, as well as upper-level courses, and advise undergraduates while developing an undergraduate-focused research program.

Applicants must have/expect a Ph.D. by August 16, 2027. This is an in-person position with a salary range of $65,000–$80,000 and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching undergraduate statistics or data science.
• Graduate TA experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Teach introductory statistics and data science courses.
• Deliver upper-level statistics and data science courses.
• Advise undergraduates.
• Share in governance and advancement of the program and campus.
