The College of Staten Island, a senior college of the City University of New York, invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Social Work beginning Fall 2026. The successful candidate will teach, conduct research, and contribute to curriculum development with a focus on disability studies.

We seek scholars who foreground disability from a social-justice perspective, pursue scholarly publication, and participate in service to a diverse student body and community.

Qualificações

• Ph.D. in Social Work or a closely related field; ABD considered with degree conferred prior to first day of Fall 2027.
• MSW from a CSWE-accredited program.
• Three years of post-MS W social work practice experience.
• Clinical Social Work license in NY or immediate eligibility for NY LCSW.

Responsabilidades

• Teach, research, and provide guidance in area(s) of expertise.
• Assist in coordination of undergraduate and graduate direct practice/clinical sequences; contribute to curriculum development and advisement.
