The Psychology Department at the University of Mount Saint Vincent invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor position beginning August 2027. We seek a social psychologist whose teaching and research will strengthen our undergraduate programs within an urban liberal arts college.

The successful candidate will teach 21 credits per year, including introductory psychology, social psychology, and courses in the candidate’s area of expertise, with opportunities to develop

Qualifications

• PhD in Social Psychology or closely related field; ABD considered.
• Evidence of excellence in undergraduate teaching.

Responsibilities

• Teach introductory psychology and social psychology courses.
• Develop courses in area of specialization and contribute to curriculum.
• Advise psychology majors and participate in department/university governance.
