Qualifications

• Earned academic doctorate in Communication Disorders and Sciences, or closely related field; ABD can be considered, but doctorate must be completed before appointment.
• College or university-level teaching experience or potential to teach in-person, hybrid, and online courses.
• California licensure in speech-language pathology and CCC-SLP (State license and CCC-SLP must be kept current).

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and graduate programs in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Lecture courses in adult neurogenic communication disorders, dysphagia, and/or disorders of voice.
• Supervise graduate clinical practica and/or student research.
• Engage in service to the department, college, and university; participate in assessment of student learning.
• Contribute to scholarship and work toward equitable academic outcomes for all students.
