Arcadia University in Glenside, PA, invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor in Psychology to begin Fall 2027. The area of specialization is open, with strong emphasis on teaching Research Methods and Experimental Psychology I and II, and Learning and Cognition is preferred.

The successful candidate will teach a 3-3 load, engage undergraduates in scholarship, advise majors, and contribute to campus-wide efforts that promote student engagement, belonging, and

Qualificações

• Ph.D. in a relevant field (or expected by August 2027).
• Ability to teach Research Methods or other courses in our research track (e.g., Experimental Psychology I and II).
• Course offerings include Learning and Cognition (preferred).
• Commitment to inclusive excellence in undergraduate teaching.
• Evidence of scholarship that involves undergraduates and is feasible at a small liberal arts institution.

Responsabilidades

• Teach a 3-3 load with often fewer than three course preparations per semester.
• Collaborate with undergraduates in conducting scholarship.
• Advise Psychology majors and participate in department/service activities.
• Contribute to campus-wide efforts that promote student engagement, belonging, and retention.
• Engage in service and professional activities that support the Arcadia mission.
