York College, part of The City University of New York, invites applications for a full‑time tenure‑track faculty position in psychology at the rank of Assistant Professor to begin Fall 2027. The Department seeks candidates with an active program of research and a commitment to undergraduate mentorship.

Responsibilities include teaching Statistics, Physiology of Behavior, Cognitive Psychology, and Experimental Psychology; advising students; contributing to curriculum development; and engaging in

Competenze

• Ph.D. in Psychology required; ability to teach successfully and collaborate with others.
• Active scholarship or achievement and ability to mentor undergraduates.
• Experience teaching diverse courses and modalities preferred.

Mansioni

• Teach psychology courses in in-person, hybrid, and online formats.
• Participate in development and assessment of new curricula and pedagogical approaches.
• Provide student advisement and mentoring.
