California State University, Monterey Bay invites applications for an instructional faculty position in psychology. The role emphasizes teaching undergraduate psychology across counseling, organizational psychology, career development, experiential learning, and writing courses.

The candidate should demonstrate experience mentoring marginalized students and building hands-on undergraduate research opportunities. Strong commitment to inclusive excellence and service to the university is expected.

Formación

• PhD in Counseling Psychology, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or related field by appointment.
• Demonstrated ability, interest, and experience in teaching undergraduate counseling psychology, industrial/organizational psychology, career/professional development, experiential learning, community psychology, and/or writing in psychology courses.
• Demonstrated success or strong interest in mentoring marginalized college students or other marginalized populations.
• Demonstrated ability, interest, and experience in teaching core undergraduate research methods, statistics, and/or capstone courses.
• Commitment to developing hands-on research opportunities in undergraduate settings and in CURE courses.

Responsabilidades

• Teaching at the undergraduate level in psychology courses such as counseling psychology, industrial/organizational psychology, career development, experiential learning, and writing.
• Engage in research and scholarship, including seeking funding, presenting at conferences, and mentoring undergraduates.
• Provide service to the profession and community through leadership roles and peer review.
• Participate in university, college, and department committees and collaborative initiatives.
