Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability, interest, and experience in teaching undergraduate counseling psychology, industrial/organizational psychology, career/professional development, experiential learning, community psychology, and/or writing in psychology courses.
• Demonstrated success or strong interest in mentoring marginalized college students or other marginalized populations in strengthening professional skills and exploring career possibilities.
• Demonstrated alignment with the CSUMB Founding Vision Statement.
• Familiarity with outcomes-based learning and core undergraduate research methods, statistics, and/or capstone courses.

Responsibilities

• Teaching at the undergraduate level including courses such as counseling psychology, industrial/organizational psychology, career/professional development, experiential learning, community psychology, and/or writing in psychology courses and/or in core courses (e.g., research methods, statistics, capstone).
• Research and scholarship which may include seeking research funding, presenting at conferences, publishing peer‑reviewed articles, and working with undergraduate students.
• Service to your profession and the community, including mentoring or leading professional organizations and serving in department or campus committees.
• Service to the university, college, and department, including participation in committees and collaboration with colleagues.
