Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or a related field by time of appointment.
• Experience teaching undergraduate psychology courses (counseling/IO psychology) is required.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor marginalized students and support diverse learners.
• Experience developing hands-on undergraduate research opportunities (lab or CURE).
• Research area focusing on college student success or critical/social perspectives.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate psychology courses such as counseling psychology, industrial/organizational psychology, career development, and research methods.
• Engage in research and scholarship, seek funding, mentor undergraduate researchers.
• Provide service to the profession and the community.
• Participate in department, college, and campus committees.
