Job summary

Lipscomb University's Department of Kinesiology invites applications for a tenure-track position in Strength & Conditioning, beginning January 1, 2027, or August 1, 2027. This is a 10-month appointment leading the undergraduate concentration within the Fitness & Sport Studies major and teaching in the MPS-KIN program, with CASCE accreditation considerations.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in kinesiology or a closely related field.
• Active CSCS credential required for CASCE compliance.
• Demonstrated expertise in strength & conditioning and sport nutrition.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead as the primary SME for strength & conditioning and sport performance nutrition.
• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses with CASCE alignment.
• Direct the Human Performance Laboratory and mentor students.
• Support NSCA CSCS exam preparation and industry partnerships.
