• Establish a vibrant, externally-funded computational and/or theoretical research program addressing quantum materials, quantum many-body phenomena, or the physics underlying quantum information processing.
• Foster collaborations within the Physics and Astronomy Department, the Cain Department of Chemical Engineering, and LSU-wide units; mentor students at undergraduate and graduate levels; teach undergraduate and graduate courses, with potential cross-disciplinary teaching with the Cain Department of Chemical Engineering.
