South Dakota Board of Regents invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant/Associate Professor in Offensive Security & Cyber Operations at Dakota State University, starting Fall 2027. The role emphasizes teaching and research across undergraduate and graduate programs with opportunities for graduate mentorship and external funding.

Candidates will engage in teaching offensive security, cyber operations, and related areas, develop hands-on labs, and build an active research

Formación

• Ph.D. in cybersecurity, cyber operations, computer science, or related discipline by start date.
• Technical expertise in offensive security or cyber operations.
• Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in offensive security and cyber operations.
• Develop hands-on labs and experiential learning experiences.
• Mentor graduate students and supervise research and dissertations.
• Develop an active research agenda and publish high-quality work.
• Seek external grants and collaborate with industry and partners.
• Contribute to DSU's offensive cybersecurity curriculum and programs.
