Qualifications

• Master’s degree or substantial and continued excellence in the field.
• Demonstrated excellence or potential in teaching and in scholarship or creative activity.
• Expert knowledge of the structure, evolution, and present practices of the music industry.
• Evidence of or strong potential for activity in national and international professional associations related to the field.
• Commitment to working with diverse communities reflective of the Chico State student population.

Responsibilities

• Teaching four courses per semester.
• Curriculum development for the Music Industry program at the undergraduate level.
• Recruitment and mentoring of students.
• Administration of the Music Industry program.
