Job summary

Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi invites applications for a 9-month, tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor of Mathematics/STEM Education to begin Fall 2027. The successful candidate will contribute to undergraduate and graduate educator preparation through high-quality teaching and a scholarly agenda in mathematics education.

Responsibilities include teaching courses in mathematics education, mentoring students, developing programs, and pursuing external funding through publications

Qualifications

• Earned Doctoral degree in Mathematics Education, or a closely related field.
• Three (3) years (EC-12) teaching experience in mathematics education with certification.
• Familiarity with educator preparation and certification standards.
• Evidence of an Emerging Research Record.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses in mathematics education and related areas.
• Mentor students and contribute to program development.
• Establish a productive research agenda with publications and presentations.
• Pursue external funding as appropriate.
