Villanova University invites applications for a Tenure-track Assistant Professor of Playwriting in the Theatre Department. The position begins in Fall 2027 with a teaching load of 3-2 courses per semester, and may include related areas such as screenwriting, new play development, ensemble-created theatre, and pedagogy.

Candidates should have an active creative/research agenda, a record of professional production, at least three years of university teaching, and a terminal degree.
