The City College of New York invites applications for a full-time tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Physics, anticipated to begin Fall 2027. We seek candidates with expertise in computational condensed matter physics, with an emphasis on quantum materials, and with a record of scholarly achievement.

The successful candidate will establish a vigorous, externally funded research program, collaborate with experimental groups here at CCNY and across CUNY, teach undergraduate and graduate

Formación

• Ph.D. in Physics or closely related field required.
• Ability to teach successfully and collaborate with others for the good of the institution.
• Postdoctoral research experience is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Teach undergraduate and graduate physics courses.
• Mentor and advise students at all levels.
• Establish an externally funded theoretical research program.
