The Philosophy Department at the University of St. Thomas invites applications for a tenure-track position in applied ethics beginning September 1, 2027. Subfields of interest include ethics of artificial intelligence, data, and digital technology.

Teaching load is six four-credit courses per year on a semester system. The successful candidate will excel in undergraduate teaching, engage in interdisciplinary collaboration, and contribute to service within the department and university.

Qualifications

• PhD in philosophy or closely related discipline; ABD nearing completion considered.
• Commitment to excellence in teaching.
• Strong potential for productive research.

Responsibilities
