Qualifications

• Record of peer-reviewed research publications appropriate to career stage.
• Experience seeking extramural research funding or demonstrated potential to secure it.
• Teaching or mentorship experience or demonstrated potential to teach and mentor undergraduate and graduate students

Responsibilities

• Develop and sustain an independent program of research, disseminate findings in peer-reviewed publications, and pursue external funding.
• Teach and mentor undergraduate and graduate students according to their expertise and program needs, including emerging nurse scientists.
• Use evidence-informed, inclusive, and learner-centered teaching and assessment practices.
• Collaborate with faculty and academic leaders to plan, improve, and evaluate courses and curricula.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary partners across Loyola and beyond.
• Contribute service to the School, University, community, and nursing profession.
• Advance School and University priorities related to belonging and inclusive excellence.

Education

Research-focused doctoral degree in nursing or related field

Eligibility for licensure as a registered nurse in Illinois
