Job summary
The Loyola University Chicago Marcella Niehoff School of Nursing invites applications for an Associate Dean of Teaching Excellence and Competency-Based Education and Assessment. The Associate Dean reports to the Dean, serves on the Senior Leadership Team, and balances administration (50%) with teaching, scholarship, and service.

- Sustained record of educational scholarship and dissemination
Responsibilities
- Advance excellence in teaching, assessment, and educational scholarship across Loyola Nursing
- Provide strategic leadership, consultation, and professional learning for faculty
- Strengthen faculty capacity to translate curricular competencies into effective teaching and evaluation
- Collaborate with program leaders to align faculty development with accreditation priorities
- Support national visibility in competency-based education and learner assessment
- Guide program and school-wide strategies through governance and leadership roles
