Job summary
College of the Redwoods seeks a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Nursing to teach in ADN, LVN, CNA, and PT programs as needed. Additional training in Pediatrics, OB, Med/Surg, Psychiatric Nursing, and Simulation may be required, with opportunities to update expertise. Teaching assignments may include evening and weekend clinical hours in a full-time 10-month role.
Start Date: Spring 2026. Salary schedules place placement by class and step, with policy that all degrees/units come from
Qualifications
- Master's in nursing or bachelor's in nursing AND master's in health education or health science OR the equivalent OR the minimum qualifications as set by the Board of Registered Nursing.
Responsibilities
- Teach in ADN, LVN, CNA, PT programs as needed.
- Training in Pediatrics, OB, Med/Surg, Psychiatric Nursing, and Simulation as required.
- Evening and weekend clinical hours may be part of teaching assignments.
