Job summary

Cuyahoga Community College seeks a full-time tenure-track Nursing faculty member to educate students across College campuses, including Metropolitan/Eastern and Western/Westshore sites.

You will teach in classrooms, clinical settings, and laboratories, participate in curriculum development and college committees, and advise students while maintaining office hours and contributing to program growth.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in nursing is required.
• Completion of a professional nursing education program approved by a state board of nursing.
• Minimum of 2 years current experience in the practice of nursing as an RN.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in Medical/Surgical Nursing.
• Current active, unencumbered RN license in Ohio.
• Ability to teach both didactic and clinical courses.
• Teaching experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver lectures and course materials.
• Evaluate and grade student work and exams.
• Develop syllabi, assignments, and handouts.
• Teach on campus or at partner high schools and contribute to program development.
• Stay current with developments in nursing through reading and conferences.
• Maintain attendance, grades, and required records.
• Facilitate classroom discussions and advise students.
• Plan and revise curricula and course content.
