Job summary

St. Edward's University invites applications for a 9‑month, tenure-track faculty position in the Department of Nursing at the Assistant/Associate/Full Professor level, beginning January, May, or August 2027.

The successful candidate will teach both undergraduate and graduate nursing courses on campus, participate in labs and simulations, and contribute to the professional and community service activities of the School of Health Sciences.

Qualifications

• Candidates should have the ability or potential to teach undergraduate and graduate courses and to support a diverse student body.
• Five (5) years of practice experience required; preferred in adult health and leadership.
• Must hold an MSN degree to teach BSN programs and have teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and graduate nursing courses on campus; participate in labs, simulations, and classroom activities.
• Engage in service to the university, community, and the nursing profession as appropriate.
• Coordinate with lead course faculty and maintain clinical competency.
• Schedule and document student evaluations, grades, and progress; provide feedback for improvement.
