Qualifications

• Must have 3–5 years of nursing practice.
• Hold a current, unencumbered RN license to practice nursing in Texas.
• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) required to teach BSN; doctoral degree preferred.
• Must have three years of academic preparation and teaching experience in nursing education.
• Teaching experience in online and in-person formats.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and graduate nursing courses.
• Coordinate with lead faculty for labs, simulations, and clinical experiences.
• Maintain clinical competency and ensure student safety and learning outcomes.
• Schedule and manage assessments, grades, and feedback.
• Participate in service to the university and the nursing program.
