Job summary

Gonzaga University in Spokane, WA invites applications for a full-time tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Neuroscience within the Psychology and Neuroscience Department. The successful candidate will teach neuroscience and psychology courses, mentor undergraduates, and lead a research program leveraging EEG/TMS facilities when possible.

Qualifications

• PhD in Neuroscience, Psychology, or closely related field.
• At least one year of teaching undergraduate students.
• Evidence of a research program focusing on neural mechanisms of cognition, perception, or behavior, using EEG and/or TMS.

Responsibilities

• Teach an equivalent to 9 credits per semester in Neuroscience/Psychology courses.
• Develop an independent neuroscience research program involving undergraduates.
• Provide academic and career advising to 15–25 undergraduates annually.
• Engage in service and professional activities to support the department.
• Maintain professionalism and contribute to a diverse and inclusive environment.
