• Ph.D. or equivalent international degree or in progress at time of application.
• Native or near-native fluency in English and German.
• German Studies or related field is preferred; innovative approaches to literary studies.

Responsibilities

• Teach a broad range of undergraduate and graduate courses, including introductory and German-taught courses for the major.
• Advise undergraduates and graduates; supervise student research.
• Develop a successful and original research program; contribute to department service.
