Qualifications

• PhD in Mechanical Engineering or closely related field required.
• Tenure-track appointment; instructor rank possible if near completion of PhD.

Responsibilities

• Teach classroom and lab courses in mechanical engineering and technology.
• Direct student design projects and supervise undergraduate research.
• Develop a research agenda involving undergraduates and disseminate findings.
• Contribute to areas such as Machine Design, Material Science, Dynamic Systems, Turbomachinery, or Engineering Design.
