Job summary

The University of Southern Indiana invites applications for a nine-month, tenure-track Assistant Professor of Engineering starting August 2027, to join the Pott College of Science, Engineering, and Education in Evansville, IN. A doctorate in engineering or closely related field is required; ABD considered.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Engineering or closely related field required. Conditional appointments may be considered for instructors who have completed coursework but not the doctoral degree.

Responsibilities

• Teach engineering and manufacturing engineering technology courses in classroom and lab settings.
• Direct student design projects and mentor undergraduates in research.
• Develop and pursue a research agenda that leads to scholarly works and undergraduate engagement.
