The Department of Curriculum & Instruction in the College of Education at Texas Tech University invites applications for a full-time, 9-month tenure-track Assistant Professor for the STEM Education Track with experience in Mathematics Education to begin September 1, 2027. Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Mathematics Education or Curriculum & Instruction with Mathematics Education emphasis by August 31, 2027.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an active, externally funded research program focused on K-16 Mathematics Education.
• Publish in high-impact journals and other scholarly outlets.
• Teach graduate level courses aligned with the candidate’s expertise.
• Advise and mentor students, including doctoral students pursuing dissertations.
• Contribute to collaborative initiatives within the College of Education and across the university.
• Engage in outreach and policy communication to align with workforce priorities.
