York College of The City University of New York invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor in the Mathematics and Computer Science Department. The department seeks applicants with an interest in teaching and research, and the capacity to participate in student guidance, curriculum development, and other duties expected of a full-time faculty member.

All areas of mathematics research will be considered.

Formación

• Ph.D. in Mathematics or related field; ability to teach successfully; demonstrated scholarship.
• Record of scholarly publications commensurate with Assistant Professor rank.
• Ability to cooperate with others for the good of the institution.

Responsabilidades

• Teaching, research and service to the department and college.
• Teach core undergraduate courses and upper-level electives.
• Contribute to student guidance and curriculum development.
