Position Details

The Department of Mathematics invites applications for a tenure‑track Assistant Professor beginning Fall 2026. The department has strong research programs across applied and pure mathematics, with a particular need for expertise in Computational Mathematics, broadly construed.

Responsibilities

Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in mathematics; supervise doctoral students; develop a research program in Computational Mathematics; contribute service to the department, college, and community.

Qualifications
  • Ph.D. in Mathematics or a closely allied field is required.

Preferred Qualifications
