Delta State University invites applications for an Assistant Professor of Leadership and Research in the School of Leadership, Research, & Psychology. The position is tenure-track, 9-month, and focuses on graduate education in educational leadership, higher education, and research.

Responsibilities include teaching, mentoring, conducting and publishing research, serving on dissertation committees, and contributing to program development.

Qualifications

• PhD/doctorate in educational leadership, higher education, research, or closely related field.
• Experience as a K-12 administrator or district-level leader.
• Experience in a higher education setting.
• Evidence of scholarly productivity (research, publications, presentations).
• Knowledge of educational research methods and design.

Responsabilités

• Teaching graduate courses in educational leadership, higher education, and research.
• Mentoring and advising students.
• Conducting, publishing, and presenting research.
• Serving on doctoral dissertation committees.
• Contributing to curriculum development and program improvement.
• Supporting dissertation committees and governance activities.
• Participating in university and college committees.
• Carrying out other duties as assigned by leadership.
