Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline with 2 years related experience.
• Associate degree in any discipline with 6 years related experience.
• Equivalency as per Board Policy 7211.
• Master's degree and related experience preferred.
• Evidence of sensitivity to diverse backgrounds among students and staff.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate scheduling of classes and personnel with department chair and dean.
• Recruit and manage support staff and part-time faculty; assist in hiring decisions.
• Develop and manage program budgets and oversee inventory and equipment.
• Coordinate outreach activities; establish and maintain advisory committees.
• Serve as liaison with local High Schools, industry partners, universities and professional associations.
• Travel within and outside district as needed; some duties may occur evenings/weekends.
