Job summary

Brigham Young University–Hawaii invites applications for an Assistant or Associate Professor of Information Technology. The role focuses on teaching IT Foundations, Networking and Cybersecurity, Systems and Cloud Computing, and Databases/Data Engineering to undergraduate students.

The successful candidate will carry a 30-credit-hour teaching load annually, engage in scholarly work, and contribute to service within the university and church-affiliated mission. Fall 2027 start preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in information technology or closely related field is required.
• PhD preferred; doctorate near completion may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Teach a 30-semester-hour load per year across three terms.
• Contribute to scholarship, mentoring, and service within BYU–Hawaii.
