The Graphic Design unit at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Graphic Design beginning January 2027. The position focuses on undergraduate teaching in a studio-intensive program within a student-centered teaching institution.

The successful candidate will teach a 4/4 load, advise students, maintain an active design practice, and contribute to service across the department and university.

Qualifications

• MFA or terminal degree in Graphic Design or related field.
• Demonstrated proficiency with industry standard software.
• Ability to teach across all undergraduate Graphic Design levels.

Responsibilities

• Teach a 4/4 undergraduate load (12 credits) each semester.
• Advise and mentor undergraduate students.
• Maintain an active design practice and engage in service across the department, college, and university.
• Collaborate with colleagues across related programs and initiatives.
