Qualifications

• Master’s degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner and SC APRN licensure eligibility.
• Current national FNP certification; minimum 2 years APRN primary care experience.
• BLS certification from allowed organizations required.
• MSN-prepared candidates must enroll in a doctoral program within first 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate asynchronous and limited synchronous online learning for MSN and DNP students.
• Implement competency-based teaching strategies to enhance clinical reasoning.
• Participate in on-campus learning intensives when not in clinical practice.
• Collaborate to align curriculum with contemporary graduate nursing education standards.
• Maintain FNP credentials, licensure, and national certifications.
• Precept APRN students in clinical settings and supervise their progress.
