California State University, Chico's College of Business seeks a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Finance in the Department of Information Systems, Finance, and Accounting for Fall 2027. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate finance courses, pursue an active research program, and contribute to AACSB-aligned outcomes.

Qualifications

• PhD or DBA in Finance from an AACSB-accredited program; ABD accepted if degree completed by start date.
• Ability to teach undergraduate and graduate finance courses and maintain an active research agenda.
• Potential for publication in refereed journals in finance.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and graduate finance courses aligned with expertise and department needs.
• Maintain an active research agenda leading to publications in refereed journals.
• Contribute to department, college, and university governance; advise and mentor students; support student organizations and experiential learning; participate in professional and community service.
