Baruch College, located in Manhattan, seeks up to two tenure-track Associate/Assistant Professor positions in Finance starting Fall 2027. The successful candidate will pursue high-quality scholarly research, teach undergraduate and graduate courses, mentor students, and share responsibility for department service.

The candidate should teach in multiple modalities (in-person, online, hybrid) and participate in Zicklin programs on campus and with our global partners.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Finance, Economics or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct high-quality scholarly research.
• Ability to teach successfully and to cooperate with colleagues for the good of the institution.

Responsibilities

• Engage in high-quality scholarly research in finance.
• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in finance.
• Mentor students (undergraduate, master's, Ph.D.).
• Share responsibility for committee and department assignments.
• Teach in multiple modalities (in-person, online, hybrid).
• Participate in Zicklin programs offered on campus and with global partners.
