Job summary

San Francisco Community College District invites applications for an ESL Instructor (Full-time, Tenure-Track). The successful candidate will deliver in-person and/or online instruction, develop curriculum and assessments, and participate in department governance to advance equity for a diverse student body.

The position offers a competitive salary range ($75,466–$115,214) for 175 days of service, with benefits and a robust professional community within CCSF.

Qualifications

Master's degree in TESL/TESOL or related field required.
Ability to teach across the full ESL curriculum in-person and online.
Experience with Canvas LMS and online teaching tools (Zoom).
Commitment to equity-minded teaching and serving diverse student populations.

Responsibilities

Teach full ESL curriculum (literacy to advanced) across modalities (in-person and online).
Develop/revise course outlines, SLOs, and assessments in collaboration with colleagues.
Provide regular office hours and academic advising to students.
Participate in governance, department meetings, and program review.
