Job summary

Carleton College in Northfield, MN seeks a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Developmental Psychology with a focus on social, personality, and/or identity development in children. The successful candidate will teach five courses per year in Carleton’s trimester system, mentor undergraduates, and contribute to research labs and seminars.

Qualifications

• PhD in psychology required or candidate to complete by Sept 2027.
• Commitment to excellence in teaching in a liberal arts setting.
• Strong interest in mentoring undergraduates in research.

Responsibilities

• Teach five courses per year in Carleton’s trimester system.
• Supervise undergraduate research and participate in labs.
• Develop upper-level seminars in developmental psychology topics.
