Qualifications

• Master's degree in construction or a related field from an accredited institution.
• 5 years of relevant professional experience in the United States construction industry or comparable international experience.
• Earned doctorate credits two years of professional construction experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders and conduct oneself professionally.
• Specialization in a scholarly area applicable to the construction industry and commitment to scholarly activities.
• Proficiency in written and oral English.

Responsibilities

• Teach and develop courses in the construction management program;
• Advise students to help them attain academic and professional success;
• Work with and mentor student organizations and competition teams;
• Collaborate with related disciplines, industry partners, and communities;
• Pursue professional development that includes scholarly activities;
• Participate in shared governance at the department, college, and university level.
