Job summary

Kennesaw State University is accepting applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor of Construction Management in the Department of Construction Management, with a preferred start date of January 2027. This nine-month contracted position is based in Georgia.

The Department offers ACCE-accredited programs and provides opportunities for research funding, collaboration with industry, and a supportive campus environment.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Construction Management or foreign equivalent required at time of hire.
• University-level teaching experience is preferred.
• External research funding experience is preferred.
• Ability to integrate research, creative work and/or professional practice into teaching, including core courses and electives.

Responsibilities

• In-person and online graduate and/or undergraduate teaching.
• Curriculum planning and development.
• Research and scholarly activities including publications and grant writing.
• Department and college committee meetings, and service to the university, community, and profession.
