Kennesaw State University invites applications for a pool of open-rank, part-time and limited-term faculty positions in the Department of Construction Management for the 2026-2027 academic year. Positions are on an as-needed, semester-by-semester basis in the state of Georgia.

Rank is determined at hire and will reflect credentials. These roles are based in Georgia and entail teaching responsibilities across undergraduate and graduate programs.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a Master's degree, or the foreign equivalent, in Construction Management or a closely related discipline is required at the time of hire.
• OR A minimum of a Master's degree, or the foreign equivalent, in a non-related discipline with 18 graduate credit hours in the teaching discipline is required at the time of hire.
• A Terminal/Doctorate degree, or the foreign equivalent, in Construction Management or a closely related discipline is required at the time of hire.
• Preferred qualifications include engaging undergraduate and graduate students in research, related commercialization success, and online or hybrid courses experience.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in Construction Management, delivering high quality instruction (in-person and online) in at least one area of specialization such as Heavy/Civil, Construction Survey/Layout, Construction Finance, Estimating, Safety, MEP Systems, or Construction Law.
• Demonstrate enthusiasm for collaborating with colleagues in the College and contribute to a positive and productive academic environment.
• Teaching assignments will be based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines.
