The Computational Medicine Program, the Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center and the Department of Genetics at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill invite applications for a tenure-track faculty position in Computational Medicine and Genetics.
The successful candidate will integrate computational biology and genomics to cancer research, directing an independent program with extramural funding and mentoring graduate students.
Formación
- PhD or equivalent degree in Genetics, Computational Biology, Computer Science, Cancer Biology, Statistics, Mathematics or related fields.
- Significant research experience applying computational approaches to cancer problems.
- Postdoctoral experience not required, but typical; open to Assistant/Associate professors.
Responsabilidades
- Direct an independent research program with extramural funding.
- Participate in graduate student mentoring and teaching at the graduate level.
- Collaborate across the Computational Medicine Program and the Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center.
