Job summary

The University of Wyoming invites applications for two tenure-track Assistant Professor positions in Clinical Psychology to begin August 2027. Research area is open, with interests in adult and/or child/developmental psychology and collaboration with existing faculty.

Responsibilities include teaching (graduate and undergraduate), practicum supervision, career advising, and mentorship of graduate students, plus building a productive research program on campus.

Qualifications

• PhD or ABD by August 31, 2027, from an APA- or CPA-accredited clinical psychology program.
• Completion of an APA- or CPA-accredited clinical internship (by August 31, 2027)
• Licensed or license eligible as a psychologist in Wyoming
• Evidence of high-quality research productivity
• Evidence of high-quality teaching (quantity commensurate with professional level)

Responsibilities

• Teach graduate and undergraduate courses and supervise practicum (2:2 load for research-active faculty).
• Mentor graduate students and supervise research projects.
• Develop a productive research program and seek internal grant opportunities.
