Job summary

Mount Holyoke College invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position in clinical developmental psychology beginning July 1, 2027. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate courses, maintain an active undergraduate research program, and mentor a diverse student body.

The department supports scholarship with funds and grants, lab space, and a mentoring program; faculty teach 4 courses per year and PhD or ABD is required, with graduate training in clinical practice

Qualifications

• Strong teaching experience at the undergraduate level.
• Active research program engaging undergraduates as research assistants.
• Experience mentoring students from diverse racial, ethnic, socioeconomic backgrounds.
• Graduate training in clinical practice is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach 200-level courses in clinical and developmental psychology.
• Teach advanced 300-level laboratory and seminar courses in their area of specialization.
• Contribute to one core course (Introduction to Psychology, Statistics, or Research Methods).
• Maintain an active research program and mentor student researchers.
