Job summary

The Department of Psychology at the College of the Holy Cross invites applications for a full-time tenure-track Assistant Professor specializing in Adult Development and Aging to begin in August 2027.

The successful candidate will build a cohesive undergraduate research program, teach core courses (Intro to Psychology, Statistics, Research Methods), and develop intermediate and advanced seminars while advancing inclusive excellence.

Qualifications

• Excellence in scholarship and undergraduate teaching.
• Commitment to inclusive pedagogy.
• PhD in developmental psychology or related field by start date.

Responsibilities

• Teach Introduction to Psychology, Statistics, or Research Methods.
• Develop intermediate courses for required areas (Individual, Social, Cultural, Cognitive/Behavioral).
• Offer advanced seminars in area of expertise.
• Maintain an undergraduate-focused research program.
